Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries recipe
A drop of rum takes the classic romantic dessert to a whole new level.
Ingredients:
1 ounce semisweet chocolate
1 ½ tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 tablespoon rum, optional
1 pint strawberries
Preparation Instructions:
1) Bring a small pot of water to a boil; reduce to a low simmer. Place a medium saucepan over pot; add chocolate, butter, corn syrup, and rum. Heat until melted, whisking constantly; remove from heat.
2) Dip each strawberry into chocolate mixture, coating 2/3 of the berry. Place on wax paper to cool. Refrigerate until serving.
